Operator guide
Board quick reference
Keep this concise reference open during setup, exercises, and routine incident operation.
Reference 1
Open an incident
Enter a clear incident or exercise name, choose the saved deployment or an empty Board, and select Start Incident.
Reference 2
Add and select apparatus
Use Add Unit and choose a standard type. Selecting a marker adds its actions to the bottom toolbar without covering the Map. Double-click a marker to tip or untip it quickly. Use More for removal, and click the Map background or press Escape to clear the selection.
Reference 3
Move and fit the Map
Turn on Move Map to pan without selecting apparatus. Fit Map restores a complete view. Zoom buttons use the center of the visible Map workspace, and the percentage field accepts a whole-number zoom level from 5% to 3,200%.
Reference 4
Manage the deployment
The one saved deployment stores a reusable apparatus arrangement. It can be applied, updated, renamed, made the default, removed as the default, or deleted.
Reference 5
Watch connection and saving
Connected means changes can be saved. Reconnecting or Offline means the displayed Board may not be current; wait or use Retry before making more changes.
Reference 6
Correct the last change
Undo Last Change reverses the newest eligible incident change within its undo window. After it is used, the button remains unavailable until another eligible change is made.
Reference 7
Close and continue
Close Incident stops live changes and keeps recovery available for up to 24 hours. Start the next incident when ready or review the closed incident through Incident History.
If the Board loses its connection
Use the connection and save indicators to distinguish a confirmed update from one that is still pending. Do not repeat a pending action until the Board reports its result or presents a recovery option.
